About Roslindale

Roslindale is primarily a quiet, residential neighborhood of Boston. The area features a mix of single family homes, Boston's traditional triple-deckers, and small apartment buildings. Many of the neighborhoods' large colonial homes are being converted into condos to accommodate the influx of young professionals and families. Jamaica Plain’s Arnold Arboretum also borders Roslindale. Residents enjoy easy access to Downtown Boston via the Needham Line of the Commuter Rail and MBTA buses.

Roslindale Village serves as a local shopping district centered around Adams Park, while Washington Street is the main thoroughfare of the community. It is also home to one of Boston’s most abundant and popular farmer’s market. People come from all over the city to check out the vendors’ local produce, homemade goods, and listen to live music.
