Watertown is a small city located just northwest of Boston and is bordered by Waltham, Belmont, Cambridge, Boston and Newton. It is made up of six neighborhoods: Bemis, Brigham (Brigham Historic District), Coolidge Square, East Watertown, Watertown Square and the West End. There are also parts of the Charles River that border or meander through Watertown.
Watertown is a nice blend of residential and commercial districts. Many of the neighborhoods are full of tree-lined streets with single family or two-family homes. While Watertown Square is a bustling are complete with shops, restaurants and a bike path along the Charles River.
Watertown is home to the third largest Armenian community in the United States, and even publishes some of the longest-running Armenian newspapers in English and Armenian. It is also home to the prestigious Perkins School of the Blind.
